No Thoroughfare Sign ISO 7010 (P004)

The No Thoroughfare sign prohibits passage or trespassing into an area. It uses the ISO 7010 P004 pictogram: a black 'no entry for pedestrians' symbol inside a red circle with a diagonal bar, on a white background. Suitable for private property, restricted zones and any area closed to unauthorised people.

The No Thoroughfare sign is part of the ISO 7010 series of safety signs, applied across the European Union under Directive 92/58/EEC on safety signs at work. Its high-contrast pictogram is understood at a glance, without text, so the same sign works in every language.
